Nice car man!! I have the same body style Evo as you ( an Evo I with the Evo III kit on it you can see in my signature). Very nice work you did under the hood! Did you paint the valve cover yourself? I'm actually in the process of painting mine basically the same color as yours to match the blue couplins, spark plug wires I just added as well as a few hoses (need to update those pics), but haven't found the right paint color yet. If I don't go that route, I may just buy a polished cover to match my plumbing...

Very nicely done again man

Well, I guess I had to be the first to say it, but those welds are CLEAN! If you dont mind me asking, where did you purchase those intercooler pipes from. Are they aluminum? They look Stainless Steel to me.

Good job on the completed process. What are the specs on the motor? And what type of GT35r is it?

How would you compare Megasquirt to lets say, DSMLink or AEM EMS? (needing info for my GT35r GSX... )

Sorry for all the questions. Congrats and cant wait to see what your dialing in at!

Cheers!

Yes, the intercooler pipes are stainless and I made them all my hand. I should have taken a pic of my tig. As far as the engine is just a 2.0 eagle, wiseco at 9.0 and the turbo is just an off the shelf unit from AMS. The megasquirt would be comparible to the ems from aem, the only thing that I wish it could do is read knock, but there is some extra stuff you can buy to convert it to read it.

I love the megasquirt. There is so much support out there. Starts up and runs, I don't have to worry about it stalling on me all the time like these old 4g's like to do.

No that wasen't me. That was my buddies Evo I. I was still working on mine at that time.
As for all you guys that are asking how I got it registered, it took me about four months and a phone call or ten everyday straight and talking to people that I know and asking for a favor and begging and pleading. But, in the end I finally got the O.K. to get it done. So this car is 100% legal here in the states.

Beautiful car!

Now that you've got it running, any chance you'll be at Factory MOD '07 (Sept. 8)? I'd love to see this car person.

Any of you guys that want to meet up at Byron next Saturday are more then welcome. I am having a mitsu meet at my house over the weekend and we are all going there around noon(about 20-30 people). I have some testing to do on my car so I don't know if I will make any full passes.

Just wanted to throw that out there. Let me know if you are coming.
