Thanks for the kind words guys. I just took the car to storage last night for winter. It was a sad night but I needed the extra room in my shop. O well, until next year.

Curious about the megaquirt. Not a path that many people take. Did you build it yourself? For those not in the know, you can actually build your own ems for real cheap from radio shack parts. There is a ton of support out there for the megaquirt system. I am going to use it on my turbo miata and build it from scratch just to say that I built my own engine management system.

Very sick car man! I love the pic of your daughter helping you tune it. That'll be me someday (I hope). Good luck with the car and have fun!

Yes, I built the Megasquirt myself and love it. It was a pain in the butt trying to find a pinout for the III though but my boys in the UK pulled through for me. The only problem I am having is not being able to get my dwell times down for running a COP setup and burned up some ignitors, so I just swapped back to the factory coils which seem to be doing the trick.

Thanks for the kind words. She is my world and everything around it.

On a side note, I got my car out of storage a couple of weeks ago and pulled the plugs, shot some oil down cylinders, cranked it over till I got some oil pressure, put the plugs back in, and it fired right up.

I was a bit shocked, because it has a warm weather tune in it and it was 45 degrees out and it just sat there and purred like a kitty. Gotta love the MegaSquirt.

I will see if I can get one written up if I can find the time.

The intake manifold is an FRH, Dale Forrestor makes them and I belive Jackson Racing sells them now. I welded it where they usually leak(Plenlum to the runners) so its just one less thing to worry about.
