UPDATE on my car!!

Well I ordered new plug wires and that fixed the sputtering problem! Thank you guys for all your help! But now i'm back to my boost problem
I can't get past 10psi. I ordered a stock wastegate just to try. (Thanks to "the game" on the forums! Thanks man!) But I can't figure out what it is. Could my bov be leaking? or does it sound more like the wg?

Ahhh, so I called that one nicely, but the sputtering was NOT relevant to the 10psi problem. Interesting. What did "the game" do for you?

I doubt it's your WGA, because you had this problem BEFORE putting on the Forge WGA. Also, the BOV leaking would not give you base wastegate pressure. It still could be how you have the MBC hooked up. I just wish I or someone near you could inspect everything to be sure it's not something basic and obvious.

I have the wastegate bov line going to the side across from the boost knob and the wastegate line going to the other

The wastegate BOV line? You mean the intake manifold/bov line, right? The wastegate lines goes to the side nipple - the one perpendicular to the knob, but I think that's what you're saying. There's more to the configuration just getting those hoses right, though. I would love to see it all in person or detailed pics of every connection. YOu for sure are not using any of the original boost hoses, right?

Lol sorry, I meant the bov line is across from the boost knob. Yes, I have new lines. I have the hallman mbc all the way up. . But it only goes to about 12psi. . The only thing I didn't do when hooking up my mbc, is cap off the stock boost solenoid. . But that wouldn't have effect right?

Subrwho, you need to use better, more specific terminology. You are saying the BOV line (your pressure source) is "across" from the knob. Does that mean across as in perpendicular or across as in 180* straight down?

Also, when you say the MBC is all the way UP, do you mean the knob itself is turned all the way up, or do you mean the boost is set to max? I assume you mean it's set to max, but I want to be sure that you know the max setting is with the knob all the way DOWN.

The boost is set to max on the mbc (all the way clockwise)

I tried buying new vaccum lines, but that still didn't help.
Here's what it looks like Warr. . .

Bov source--0 Boost adjusting knob
..................|
.................Wastegate line

I know we went through this already, and that looks right, but why don't you try swapping them real quick and see if it stays at 10-12psi. If so, then that's not a fix, but it tells us something, which is that the MBC is having no effect on the turbo.

i'm in utah and i am sure you can find quite a few places that could easily fix this problem for you. as long as you are in slc which i am assuming you are... i would go to solid autoworks which is on state street or competition associates. both of those shops know their stuff and are in down town slc. if you live down south check out munoa performance, adam might be able to help let me kow if i can help you at all but i dont know my boost lines very well

Why don't you just atleast try this suggestion? People have been saying to try it since the beginning of your problem. And when you say you bought new lines, do you mean stock lines?

You tried it just now after fixing the sputtering problem, and you got the same exact boost with the MBC set at both extremes? Please verify.
