popping noise from my exhaust

When I rev-match...I sometimes get a popping noise from my exhaust when I let the clutch go...is what does this sound mean? is it harmful?

Yea it does...like a detonation...I think when I rev up real fast...maybe it's too fast and I havent given the engine enough gas or waited too long to shift into gear

Yeah...I just think I might be letting go of the clutch late after I rev up...maybe I hadn't given the engine enough gas to work at the revs that I needed it to...I dunno

Rich tune... Unburnt fuel hitting a hot spot in the exhaust somewhere and making a "pop" sound. I still get them during partial throttle custom flashed.

Now that does make sense to me...I knew I was running pretty rich...so I really didn't think I was lean

I wouldn't worry about it. It is just a backfire. Does it only do it when you rev match or does it do it at the end of hard run too? It is pretty common during rev matching and it is just a matter of how loud it is. Most likely during that transition get overly rich and ignite unburned fuel in the exhaust.
