Can anyone tell me where I can find/buy a replacement restrictor pill for the boost lines? Currently I only have the one pill closest to the turbo and I am missing the one that is closest to the solenoid. I am trying to return back to the stock boost setup. My boost has been spiking up to 1.5+ bar and it's making me very uncomfortable. Is it very dangerous to be running without this particular pill installed on a stock tune? I know that the absence of this pill increases boost by almost 2psi, but I am concerned that I am causing detrimental damage to the engine by not having it there. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

nd you get the hose and the pills. I have never seen anywhere that you can buy JUST the pills...

I would say that increasing boost, without tuning for it, by removing factory parts tha smooth out spikes and without a real good way of knowing what your boost is, IS a bad idea. YOu are probably not doing detramental damage by only bumping it up a couple PSI but, you are "rolling the dice".

Just have your ECU flashed if you want to increase power. When my car was basically stock, I threw in a fuel pump and had it flashed and I was surprise how much it changed the car's power delivery and how well boost can be controlled with a flash... Only problem with that is I started spending every paycheck looking for that same "first hit!"

 

I'm pretty sure i still have mine sitting in the garage, I took it apart just to see what it looked like, If i still have it i will pm you and send it to you, Only thing i see being the problem is trying to get just the pill back in..I will get back to ya either way..

 

Can some one please show me a picture of what this "boost restrictor pill" looks like? Thanks in advance.

Bump from the dead - Can you physically feel the pills if you pinch the lines? I'm working on solving an 11psi boost issue and can't feel the pills but am not really sure if I would be able to if I tried. TIA.
