Diffrenece between stock and oem replacement vortex generator

I searched and came up with no answer. Here is my question: Is there a difference between an oem vortex generator and one of the many replacement ABS plastic ones?. Any difference in performance, durability, and look? thanx

What ever one you get make sure you use a little extra 3M 2 way tape on the vortex generator install. One guy I know just lost his rexpeed on the high way.

I think the title to your thread is a little misleading. Stock is the same as OEM.

title fixed. the reason i ask this stuff is because from my understanding the vortex generator work with the gourney flap or whatever its called to create more downforce. And i want to make sure the rexspeed replacement or any for that matter will perform like the oem parts

Get them all, I'm running the OEM MR Vortex Generator, along with a Tarmac Black painted gurney flap piece from Rexpeed.

I doubt you would notice any "performance" gains from either the oem or aftermarket. They do look cool though!

That customer never installed it correctly He told me the VG wasnt taped down correctly but still continued to drive the car thats why it flew off. Customer ordered another one from me. If he knew the problem was our VG he wouldnt of ordered another one from us. If your VG is installed correctly it aint going anywhere. We have 100% satisfaction gaurantee on not just our VG's but all our other products as well. Have a problem let me know ill take care of it wont leave you hanging

rexspeed is running a special right now for the vg and gurney flap together for $135. I would highly doupt that unless your a fairly accomplished track ***** you would notice much of a difference with them, and considering that plenty of time attack evo's incuding the cyber evo dont run a vg i would have to say that there is not a chance in he11 that there is a performance difference between stock and aftermarket. They do however look pretty sweet so Im going to be getting them myself. Well the vg anyways since I will have a apr wing
