In Iraq And I Cant Drive My Evo
JUST WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSE IS IN IRAQ RIGHT NOW AND THEY ARE DREAMING ABOUT THE NEXT TIME THEY GET TO DRIVE THEIR EVO. Oh yeah one more thing how many parts have you bought since you have been in country?

Been there and done that. We're scheduled to go to Afghanistan beginning of next year so it will be another deployment without my beast, but hopefully they will let me retire.

Just got here. It didn't even take until the first week of mobilization in Bragg before I started missing driver. 2 months down ? more months to go.
Sure you could wait till you get back to buy another turbo or just find you a FMTV to cannabilize. haha

I bought an EVO a month before my second tour to Iraq in 2005. I wanted one and was going to reenlist and get a bonus when I get there. Plus I figured this might be my last chance to own one of my dream cars. It was parked in the garage for a year and I had my photos (pathetic I know). I bought my gauges and few of the basic bolt-on mods while I was in Iraq. It will be sweet freedom when you get home and start her up. The Evo is a focul point for me helps me get through the hard times when I need to be by myself. Stay safe and enjoy when you get home.

I bought my evo the day I got back, I'd be in the MWR online looking on autotrader and ams tuning, couldn't wait to get finally get one. When I got home I already made a phone call and knew which one I was getting. Sweet feeling makes you appriciate it a lot more.

Right here brother... been away for a year now and still got more to go.... dame extension.... I look at parts everyday that I get a chance to... only bought some GOLD TE-37s for now, which I am still waiting for, and the orbital 2 Din kit but more things will be on the way... dont want to order much right now and just have things sit there.... other than my wife I miss driving that car that car more than anything else... good luck and stay safe guys...
