Mike at Forge Motorsports highly recommended using the turbo nipple in this thread I started a while back, and gave several reasons why:

"you don't need nor want vacuum referenced to the boost controller nor actuator

when the boost controller actuates, sending a signal to the actuator to open it, it will pull pressure away from the reference to the top of the valve which is needed to help keep the valve sealed under load. This will create a stutter or lapse in the sealing of the valve and subsequent loss of boost pressure"

So method 1 will cause the WGA to "leak"???
