Very often in working on my car I am trying to remove a bolt where I just don't have a lot of room to ratchet a socket wrench. I was thinking wouldn't it be cool if there was a powered socket wrench that was not big like an air ratchet so it could fit into small spaces, but was powered so you didn't have to ratchet it. Well I did some googling and I came up with a patent on what sounds like exactly my imaginary dream tool:

The patent was issued in 1997, but I was unable to find any products based on it. Does something like this exist?

 

Don't believe I ever seen one that wasn't air-powered and as small as you want it.

 

Very compact and small air ratchets exist.
