There are a couple of local shops out there that are experimenting with the twin scroll design... I'm sure in a couple of months everyone will offer one of these designs in their kit.

id say that twin scroll has been around for quite awhile...way better than ball bearing/dual, but like was stated already it just took a descent company to make a kit for the evo, if i could afford that kit it would already be on my evo

but if youre making power and full boost at say...4500 why do you care that you cant run it out to 9500? get some supporting mods (stroker, meth, nitrous, even a built 2.0l) and youll be torquey spooling down low then boosting with some decent cams up top, it will be a solid car all-around.
if you boost XXPSI and hit 600whp by 7500 and i hit 550 whp 2K sooner, whos faster around the track? (based soley on that, not driver and mods...)

The charts that Geoff posted don't show anything near a 2k spool difference a couple hundred RPM with much better throttle response and similiar peak. Without a doubt if have 2 turbos and both make within 50whp of each other but 1 spools up 2000rpms faster than the other I would say you have a winner.

I'm wondering how they plumb around the AC and also am curious as to how well that IC will work as longer rows allow for a larger delta T because of time for heat transfer to occur...
