service

i have noticed several dealerships in my area that have very short service lines these days, that maybe a good thing for us when we're in a rush and just need kwik service.

this make me wonder if this is why they are so kwik to deny warranty, they're already not making much money as it.

but how can they expect to keep service customers if they treat us like sh t.

are they not aware that the only real reason to go to them for service is if its warranty related

dealership service is already overpriced as it is but some of still go just so they have proof that our cars are being maintained hoping to keep our warranty, but the first chance they get our warranty is the first to go.

They deny warranty claims so much because people would (and still do) swap their cars back to stock and fraud the claims when they break things.

I guess Mitsu decided it didn't like sponsoring so many people ~_~

i can understand that but then the good gotta suffer for the bad.... when people do that it not fair to them..... but what about the decent customer that has genuine issues, he gets denied for simple things.... i know we cant all win but mitsubishi does promise customer satisfaction so as customers we should be treated individually.

I understand what you are saying, but what about the people that have their warranties voided because they have modifications and those modifications have nothing to do with what is wrong? The common sense thing to do is to put your car back to stock just to forego any difficulties.

i honestly can't blame them for void warranties for anything excpet a catback...

Sure the cars can run with mods, but they made the car a certain way for reasons.

when i bought my car after they wouldnt negotiate on my trade in and evo price anymore i negotiated free maintnence til 60k. so my car seems them every 3k for an oil change and tire rotation. i get an alignment every 10 as well.

Cheers!

i went thru that, my warranty was voided for intake and exhaust, but i just didnt know any better i never had issues with mitsubishi before and i didnt know othet peole had that problem..... i got the death whine so i brought my car in thinking i'd be covered instead i get an estimate for the reapirs. some of us just dont know... i had an 03 before this and had the transfer case warrantied twice but that car was bone stock (so i know why i had no issues then).... if i knew i would have just put the stock back

they called reminding me about my upcoming service and i just laughed and hung up.

I always went to the dealer when I had my Evo to keep my warranty intact, but I was also stock so it wasn't really an issue.

I still goto the dealership for services. My car is bone stock and I perfectly fine with that (I can't pay so I won't play). I'm not that mechanically smart, do not have the time nor have accesss to the proper facility to change fluids, etc. Its easier for just to bring it in.

To answer your question, no I will not go to the dealer for service. I have a TBE and fear they would void the warranty altogether.
