Has anyone fit a Buschur Race (4") intercooler behind an Evo IX bumper? I'm considering converting to a IX front bumper but not sure about fitment of the intercooler because it's so much of a tight squeeze on the VIII.

you know if you see kee1pride on here he made the switch. he had no problems. I would say yes
If that IC is in between the crash beem why woulnt it fit?

 

If i'm not mistaken the max you can fit on the 9 bumper with out removing the crash bar is 3.5.............

 

Smokey what good bro. It might fit but the endtanks might give you trouble. If u dont remeber me I was at that ally pond BBQ in my Girls Evo EB.

 

You have to shave the crash beam to make it fit. Mine will arrive on friday so I'll let you know how it goes.

 

The BR race FMIC is 4" thick. It can't fit with the crash beam and it's an extremely tight squeeze even without it. I just want to know if anyone with a IX has installed one with no problems.

I have the buschur delux IC and I had to shave the rear of the bumper (behind the intake ducts) about a half inch for the bumper to fit..

 

Do you have an 8 or 9 front bumper?

 

9 bumper on my 8..
