Thumbs down vortex generator color preferences??

i ordered a graphite gray vortex generator from "mitsubishiparts.net" and they sent me a black one. i called and they said that (of course) just now mitsubishi is just making one color and they just found this out. their web site still shows color options for the VG.

does anybody know if this is true of mitsubishi's VG's now? one color?

are most people running black VG on GG cars? likes-dislikes?

what does it cost to have it painted to match the car?

the reason i ordered it there and paid alot is for the color. if i knew i had to paint it i would have gotten an ebay one.

the guy said they normally dont take returns for internet orders(WOW) but would make an exception for me if i send it back soon. thanks for any help.

bone

It was originally Black on my wicked white, and I took it to a local shop and they charged me $30.00 to get it painted. I think it came out nice.

Black would look better than a color match to me. Or, a CF piece would probably match the wing the best.

My car is Black and VG is white. Contrast FTW

Just kidding. Agreed that a Black VG looks good on all colors. Color matched works too

I like my color matched GG one... Not matched just draws attention.

its suppose to draw attention, its the same reason why people put CF pieces on their cars, or change rims.

Just out of curiousity...who did you talk to? I handle the interenet orders and I havent spoke to anyone about the VG's coming in black. Either way, if you talked to someone here I will try to help resolve it.

Give me a call and leave me a message if Im out of my office.

Sorry for the confusion.
