Well guys at least the event was won by a EVO owner (ok ex owner) and EVOm member Tanner Foust (IceSlidnFool here). Subaru does support the U.S. rally scene and Mitsubishi does not, that's why Subaru's dominate. Drivers/teams have to go where the money is if they want to get the most bang for their buck. Blame Mitsubishi for not supporting Rallying anymore not Subaru for keeping it alive in the U.S. (we should thank them).

^ That jump is sooooooo stupid. Yeah, let's build a jump that will damage all cars that jump it. Man, that deserves the dumbest thing-of-the-year award. Big thumbs down for X Games. WRC rules.

I mean, rally cars aren't monster trucks. Someone give the X Games guys a clue.
I wonder what "brilliant" idea X Games is gonna come up with for next year's event.

The jump didn't damage everyone that went over it, just the one's who didn't do it well enough, It was entertaining, that's what they were aiming for, and they definitely achieved that.

Meh it's like everything in America. The only way to keep it alive is to make everything much more dramatic then it really is. It's like WWE in the sense that everything revolves around money and drama. Just look at NASCAR...

not every car crashed on that jump, you had to go like 42-45 mph to clear it just right and land right, and the only reason the evo's failed were cause of tech / mechanical problems i think. As far as using the gravel tires for a mainly tarmac course, you can blame Rally America for that as they were the ones who had the teams use them
