Have you seen the stock downpipe??? It's so nasty. That's the only way those crossmembers fit...

Any other manufacturer that has a 3" downpipe that clears those rods has done some incredible engineering. I am willing to guess no FULL 3" (not necking down and then back to 3") downpipe will clear those. At least RMR has a solution...

Bottom line is that it's a great mod and simple to do. Good luck.

The pic is a stock downpipe...

All it takes is 5 spacers and if you buy the Buschur downpipe they come with it.

So, if I was to get the RMR (which I want) and then get a couple spacers, it would all work?? If so, that's the plan...

Call RMR and ask Eric - they will be straightforward with you. Good luck!

Well I can vouch for Chris's EVO I was the member that met up with him yesterday to check out the EVO and man it hauled *** and the RMR parts are top of the line and the guys there are awsome. There was a small glitch with one of hte hard pipes *small hole in the weld* and they were fast to figure out what the problem was and to replace it. The exhaust is beautiful and sounds so nice quiet on cruise mode *light tone* and then it opens up under hard boost but never to the point where u want ear plugs like other exhaust's I have herd on this sight. I should have a EVO by begining of AUGUST and I will be going to RMR to get everything Chris got.

I took the pics so here is a pic of the downpipe that u wanted
