My car is sick
I just got back from RMR and have installed the exhaust and intercooler hardpipe. YES!!! This thing is a beast now - 300whp and holds a nice 900rpm idle with no problem. I gave another evolutionm.net member a ride after he met me at the shop... hopefully he'll post his thoughts...
All of you claiming this or that is wrong with RMR have no idea what you're talking about. They are the BEST Evo shop going. I highly recommend them.

Ummm if you actually researched before you wrote anything, you would see that I have several mods and the intercooler pipe and exhaust were just the latest. I also have the ECU reflash, downpipe and intake. I haven't dyno'ed it yet, but the anticipated gain is about 15 hp or so with the exhaust. I have dyno'ed it with the intake, downpipe and ECU and it made 280 at the wheels (220 baseline). Happy?
As for my coffee, give me a venti mocha, please.

All of the RMR parts fit perfectly. I watched them install everything - no shimming, trimming, jimmying or other "immying". Nice.
I post a TON of new pics in the registry here. Like I said, once I can get over to the dyno (when it's working) I will get the sheets and then scan them. Trust me, the true numbers matter more to me since I paid for the crizap.
(the pic shows how nicely the exhaust looks/fits)

Don't you have to get rid of the 2 bars that go underneath the front end in order to use their downpipe? I don't want to get rid of those bars just to have a downpipe from them, otherwise I would purchase one from them..

I did remove them, but I replaced them with the RMR X-brace underneath - it ties all the points together better and clears the downpipe. It's pretty cheap - ask for a discount if you buy it with the downpipe...

But that's kinda my point.. They made this product, as awesome as it may be, but they MAKE you have to buy this other part in order to run efficiently.. That kinda sucks in my opinion.. Wouldn't some simple spacers be used instead of replacing both bars for this other one?
