For threads like these, a mod should pm the person with an intelligent answer or link to a thread that answers the question and delete the post.

Threads like these take up too much space for a question that has been asked a million different ways.

not only do u need to SEARCH, but u need to do ur RESEARCH!!! u also need to be more specific with your query.

1)do u want 300 crank hp?
2)do u want 300 whp?
3)do u want 300 crank or whp on pumpgas?
4)do u want 300 crank or whp on racegas?

5) more importantly, why do u care about HP when it's TORQUE that gives a car it's "fast" feel? Torque is how a big block camaro can run 9's @ 110mph

Not to bash u man, but i still have trouble figuring out how people can spend $30k + on a car & not know anything about it especially an EVO which now has over 15yrs of R&D, tuning, & racing behind it??? This is y u have been bludgeoned by the other members. it's about as silly as buying a Grand national & asking how do i go 10sec?

Ok first of all if you dont have anything nice to say dont post I was asking to learn.

 

Learn by researching, not by asking to be spoonfed. Since when should people not post unless they only have something nice to say? This isn't kindergarten, and you're not a child...I think.

 

All in all, seeing one of these types of threads every single day makes me realize that the new member system does not work. New guys are not properly educated on how to utilize the forum. Or new members are ignoring the rules. It's no one's fault really, but I think it needs to be corrected. Shove it down their throat for a few minutes after joining. Then restrict them to the newb forum or make them "search only" or something. I'm just trying to help improve the process for all members. Just a thought.

By the way, 300 whp on a mustang dyno will most likely require cams on a VIII.
