i've had my share of Trans Am's and Camaro's... then I bought a Subaru Impreza RS as I loved the handling, then when the Evo came out, the handling and performance got me. But... I have to say I will eventually be going back to the v8 muscle, displacement with 2 turbo's and 2K+ horsepower

I remember reading back in 2003 on the mustang forums some guy talking about the Evo, and after his test drive, he traded in his 'stang. His whole write up was great, and offended most of the members. Then, I think other members started trading up too.

I had a few things. 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T. 1969 Jaguar XKE. 88 Mustang GT. Currently still own a 93 Mustang Cobra. It was up on Ebay and had a deadbeat bidder. Great car, but I just don't have the time to restore it. Going to relist in the next couple of days. Still own a 86 Mustang SVO. That is more like the Evo with the 2.3 turbo and other goodies. That one is a keeper, as is the Evo.

Sorry i'm just gettin in this thread.....but i too have a very mixed background of cars from old school toyotas (mango's, ae86, etc) to fox body mustangs to most recently a few mod motor mustangs.

Here a couple pics of my black 03 Cobra that had:
- KB 2.6L 21 psi
- 60# inj
- IRS full weight on DR's
- Best time was a 10.79 fastest trap was 137mph

And here is the 1st 03 Cobra that had:
- 2.76" upper only w/ a Stieg port
- IRS full weight on DR's
- Best time was 11.50's @ around 120-123 mph

I did. I've had 9 Mustangs, two Vettes (most recent was a lightly modded '02 Z06 with 414rwhp), some Camaros, plus a bunch of other stuff. I like to try new things out.

just to add to the conversation...I drove my buddies brand new V8 mustang...and that thing is a DOG. He was proud because it was fast, but then I let him drive my car....I think he was very sad that my car would destroy his "baby"...haha

still like the way v8's sound though
