4g63??

I always hear people talking about the popularity of the 4G63 motor... I know it is in the evo 9...

but what about these cars? Ive seen similar looking setups under hoods... like

Previous year DSMs... eclipses talons etc.

SRT4?

Are those 4G63? with different heads? thanks!

Wow... And you own an Evo... Im not normally a douche, but you need to read up on the history of this motor. The motor is ancient compared to most motors and still uses a cast iron block compared to most motors that use an aluminum blocks (nissan has been using them since 1991 or before and now mistu is switching to them now with the 4B11). I know for sure its been around since 1991 if not before (1989 may be the beginning). Also its NOT being used in the SRT-4. While chrysler/dodge used have some like cars they dont anymore

Evo m is going down the tubes... Every thread is just some poor guy asking a simple question and getting nonsense responses. Sure, you should search before posting, but not everyone is perfect. I doubt there's a thread on the similarities of the SRT 4 engine and the evo engine.
