wait. those pics don't look like they have a CAI snorkel......
the 3 uninstalled pics look like a CF version of the regular box and the installed pics are just regular angled shots.

First I have this intake.
It was designed to be used with the monster sport hood. If you have the hood no cutting of the hood is involved. You will still have to cut the bumper support.
Second 150 is a great deal. Mine cost like 400 and took 7 months to get from j demand but thats another story.
I agree that its 2 different photos, but you got the more expensive one you could easily turn around and sell it for 250. Im sure alot of us have the marbles to cut the hood.
Good luck

I dont think that is the real monster intake. Come on guys a real jdm carbon intake for around 160.00 is too good of a deal. Also anything thing that ends with style on ebay is a copy of the real one. For instance mon-Style intake.

its all good...... i ended up growing some big brass *****, and installed it.....i had to eyeball the cuts, and do a few recuts on the hood, but it wasnt too difficult to install..... wasnt warped, fit on the intake box pretty damn good.... i had to file down a few of the clip sections so the clips stayed on tighter, but other than that.. not too bad.....

Ouch!!
Damn, I wouldn't have done that.
But then again if you want to make it look decent, buy some CF sheets, Resin, bondo etc. Curve the CF accordingly to fit in that hole and go on from there.
Bondo the curved CF on the hood. Sand as much needed. Take the hood off and send it to paint if needed. Its about a day or two of work if you know what you are doing.

I am currently broke, if that happened to me, I would have taken a piece of binder paper, painted it red and would have taped it on there.
