maybe try the official lightning yellow picture thread to see if he posted pics? might be able to find his name if he has an account on here or what his mods were at the time.

i personally wouldnt buy a used one, true you can get one for a pretty good price, but if you dont know too much about these cars in the first place you you might be in for a big headache. majority of people who own them are usually people who race, mod, and do all kinds of things to it. another thing try to find out if its been adult driven. i wouldnt want it if i found out a teenager was driving it

ya i feel bad for whoever ended up wit my first evo.(bought it wit 7k miles from 50 year old man..bought srt wit 2k miles from an older man) lol. trust me i go over everything. i would buy new if i had that kind of money. but working part time and going to school full time its jus not possible.

Go for it, man. You only live once. By "Go for it." I mean make the six hour drive and inspect the car in person. Drive it. You know you have to before you get it.

You sound serious enough. Do you want this car enough to drive a measely six hours? If six hours was between me and the car I wanted, I'd do it. Have fun with it.
