best intake mani?

Hey guys,

Sorry if this is in the wrong thread but I couldnt decide which one would be appropriate. Any ways...I'm looking into getting an intake mani and I've been looking all over the forums and the internet today for which intake is proven to increase the most horsepower. Could you guys give me your opinions on what I should go with?..and if you know any other one let me know. So far I've looked at...

1.
BUSCHUR RACING
"Expect from 10-40whp on street to full race setups."

https://secure.buschurracing.com/cat...roducts_id=793

2.
AMS PERFORMANCE
"Expect from 10-60whp on stock turbo to full race setups."

http://www.amsperformance.com/store/...roducts_id=166

3.
MAGNUS MOTORSPORTS
"GUARANTEED 40WHP"

The BR sells the AMS unit so your 2 pics that you have are both the same one...

The magnus is half the price if you get the version 2 and can pick it up used for cheap money. This was the intake manifold of choice before AMS came out with theres........

Either way your making good power .

I believe that the AMS and BR are the same... I'm pretty sure BR just resales AMS's intake manifold. That might narrow things down for you.

I know what most think just based on the stereotype. What about the Weapon R though? The new design has gotten better. I remember seeing a dyno on here that showed the power gains. Also, it fits the stock ic piping and also has a place for the map sensor. Neither AMS nor Magnus have this. Not to mention it's cheaper than all the rest.

Might as well just go through Buschur for the whole package. Intake mani, throttle body, etc. They have em all!

Don't forget about JM Fabrications.

Those who don't know, JMF is an old school DSM shop. I use them for all my fabrications needs as they do excellent work. They have already engineered and built sheetmetal intakes for DSM's & SRT4. The EVO sheetmetal unit is in development and should be released shortly. Just like all their other manifolds I'd bet this one will be designed and constructed better then most of the units already out there and be less expensive as well.

I just reread that and it sounded like a sales pitch.
FYI: I'm not affiliated with them in any way other then I do pay them to fabricate stuff for all my vehicles for the reasons I stated above.
