IX 2 Step...

I was wondering if the IX's come with a two step already activated STOCK to rev to 5000 rpm or does the ecu need to be reflashed to activate the two step? I bought the car used and the dealer didnt know if the ecu had already been reflashed.

It has a launch limit of 5000rpm stock but it can be adjusted (higher/lower) with a tune.

the 5k 2 step that comes stock is basically worthless
you cant launch off of it to good, because the car will not build enough boost
so it just kinda bogs down when u launch

^^^^^ VERY TRUE! It doesn't build boost that well at all. It's basically put there to idiotproof the car.

Adjust your timing and you'll build 20 lbs.

I think he knows he has the 2 step but was trying to see if it indicated a re-flash, which it doesnt.
