Runing Rich, out of the blue...???
Wsup guys and gals, First off let me say that when I was tuned, it was considered a " Conservative Tune" (about 6-7 months ago.) I just noticed that when I jump on it , my A/F gauge shows it running rich (Glowshift A/F gauge) it goes back and forth (worthless), so I have no actuall reading. It seems to be fine driving normal... I just changed my plugs (NGK OEM plugs) for a IX and when I pulled them out they were gapped @ .20- .21, so when I put the new ones in, I left them the way they were@ .20- .21. Does the car running rich have anything to do w/ the plugs and the gap setting? Any ideas??? Should I get re-tuned?

No, I actually bought them in a package deal 3 Glowshift gauges and a-pillar pod for like $175 from AutocityImports. At the time I thought they looked sweet and didnt know that the A/F gauge was worthless!(tinted face and looks nice lit up) I didnt want to spend 250+ per gauge. I thought that the gap was small, but I did it by myself w/ out anyone who knows better (obviously) I sorta expected the old ones to be gapped, so I wanted to be safe and replace them exactly the way they came out. No I did NOT do anything else. If I were to pull them out and gapp them around .24, do you guys think that would have any bearing on the matter??? Should I be concerned w/ my tune?

AFR meters run off of a signal given by the O2 sensors. If you have the O2 sensor mod (running a test pipe) That might be giving you your bunk reading. Most tuners tune w/ a wideband O2, wich samples at a much higher rate than your factory O2 sensor. If your tuner knew what he was doing, I would trust the tyune and not your guage.
