Either that or a mechanics joyride on his lunch hour. Why would you take it in for a measley oil change? And leave it with them, your asking for trouble. Walmart oilchanges Mobil1 in house $50. You can watch them do it and drive it in and out yourself. Do it yourself for even less.

Downshifting, hehe. The oil changes are free at the dealership, and was two days before I noticed the clutch, I stayed there the whole time. I've always been paranoid about my clutch and never leave it pressed down, no riding, it's always depressed when I'm at stop lights/etc. If anything I could be accused of riding my brakes

The dealership wouldnt warranty my clutch even though I had 6600 miles on the car brand new. I just stuck it out and got the exedy HD twin disc that I was planning on getting later down the road. No regrets here hehe.

These dealerships don't get it. If they take care of customers like the OP, with new unmolested Evos, with low milage, they'd have a customer for life. Instead, we realize there's no point to ever using their service depts.
