What about Megan housing. It's only a little over 100 bucks. Sounds like it would be a better option?!

I think it depends on the size/location of the wastegate hole inside the housing. If it's about the size of a quarter, and positioned like the un-ported e-bay housing, you might get boost creep issues. If it's ported out, this seems to solve it. You will have to inspect the internal design. From the outside they almost all look the same.

Looks like I'll be leaning towards the Titek.

Seems like the best response it coming from the Titek.

Thanks for all the info to those who gave input.

Seems clear that the Titek is guaranteed to be a well-made housing. What I haven't seen yet are dyno numbers. The eBay housing does seem to perform well, probably because of the smooth flowing turbine dump tube and the small WG hole in the turbine flow causing very little flow disruption. With the Titek, the WG merge hole is very large which means no boost creep, but possible more flow disruption. At any rate, I'll end up getting the Titek because its better made.

Since you drives an IX you might wanna put your dollars elsewhere, the O2 on the 9 is pretty good for stage1 and some more.
You could always port the stock IX if necessary, but put your dollars on a tune or something else

I wasnt exactly happy with my Megan O2 housing as I had to grind the mounting holes out to fit the turbo. Everything went together fine after that with no boost creep or leaking but I believe Megan needs to QC their products a little more. I have since then decided to port and coat the stock O2 housing.

I remember when those Titek housings were $400+, I feel bad for the people who paid that much for them. Glad they finally came down but $175 is still pretty damn high IMO.

Those who are looking to spend less then $99+ vendors are charging check out Ebay. The ones almost all the vendors on here sell is the same ones you can purchase yourself on ebay. That is where I purchased mine, it had over 30k miles before I took it off. Except for a lot of carbon build up which is to be expected it still looked good.

02 housings work all the same way and all of the give you boost creep so your best bet is getting buschurs 02 housing its already coated and the price isnt so bad.

My friend has a IX, and if you haven't done the other basic upgrades so far, money would be best spent there. That said, I would go with Buschur or Ebay, even though Ebay sometimes is hit or miss.

How come the bigger names like Espelir or Perrin dont design O2 housings?

Thanks for the info in advance.
