time to say good bye..
I just wanted to thank everyone on this forum who has made owning two evos a very pleasant experience.
I have sold my evo 9 as of last monday.
I have learned a great deal about evos and cars in general from this forum.
Although I've had some problems here and there with my two evos it's been very good and it was a very hard decision to make the change since I've had an 03 evo and a 06 evo.
I just loved the way these cars drove and handled but I kind of grew out of it now I guess.
The car I bought is a 05 Rx8.
The interrior is really nice (evo's cannot even touch the rx in terms of interrior qulaity), handles pretty good and I got a very very good deal.
The car only had 10k miles and I got it for $19k.
I ran carfax before purchasing the car and she came back clean.
It does have a few minor scratches here and there but overall it's in exellent condition.
As far as accelartion goes, the rx8 cannot touch the evo in this category but that's ok, I love how smooth the twin wankel rotories accelerates.
Anyways, I just wanted to say good-bye and give thanks to everyone on this forum.
Best regards...

Carfax is useless. Im sure if you ran it on my car 6 months from now it would come back clean..

Im sure this wont show up, and people beat on cars alot worse. I know people that wreck cars pretty bad take them to local garages and have them fixed without ever turning it in!
besides man, i used to sell them cars a few years ago when they first came out. Nice looking, fun to modify the outside but absolutely no power at all! Even with turbo kits it makes like 270whp and like 160 Tq..
the only real reason i could see getting rid of the evo for that is insurance reasons or financial reasons.
Best of luck, bye bye

You make a bad decision getting rid of your evos for a RX8.
I'm 100% gurantee you will be back here.
I'm also own a FD rx7 and I have promise myself if this built 13B motor blow again I will burn the whole shell along with it.
BTW 19K would buy you a very nice BWM with the best interior you will ever need.
Goodluck on your new rx8.
