We had these things called "tree rats" in Jacksonville, FL they never touched the ground, and our old house turned into a breeding ground... *****es chewed up everything, I hate rats.

Settle down Tonto. I live in the middle of the woods. There's thousands of rats around here. I could never get rid of all the rats. Hence the analogy I used. Or I could have said Rednecks in the South, Yankees in the North, Liberals at USC... just a little more to help you out.

Re: Rats

I have or had this same problem. I live on a 30 acre field and my house is a old farm house and my garage is an old pole barn that i could not keep field mice out of they got into all of my cars and my tool box. Now after talking with many other car guys that store cars and campers ect they all said to put down bounce dryer sheets about 3 to 4 times a year. AND IT WORKS no more mice in my garage or cars in fact i have not seen a mouse in aprox a year i know it sounds stupid but it worked for me.

i've had rats in my wifes civic several times...used to live on acreage now live in new subdivision formerly prarie land still have mice and rats. when i know one is in the car i use glue trap with peanuts or peanut butter. once their on that i hit em with bb gun. then double bag and dispose. in the garage i use an electric rat trap baited with peanut butter.

side note...i had a plastic scraper in my blower i had to get upside down in the passenger seat and be patient to get the blower out it took some finesse, but it's not impossible.

good luck!
