Is this a good deal?

A 2006 EVO IX MR, 5000 miles on it, completely stock, flawless (no paint chips, swirls, etc.), bought in May 2007, only thing done to it is tinted windows and Alpine head unit. Asking 31K. Is this a good price for a used MR?

I think it is. Brand new out of the door will cost you around 38k. you save at least 6k and i like alpine headunit a lot, i put one in mine, and this one already has one.

Try to get it down to 29k. 2k less on a 31k dollar car isnt going to hurt them that much.

SoCal mitsu is selling the SE for 33K.

For me, the Evo is one car I don't think I would buy used.

There aren't as many EVOs here in VA as there are in Cali, so there is higher demand.

I DEFINITELY would not buy used. I know its tempting to save that extra couple grand, I almost bought used too. I decided to go new, and after that the dealer told me the car I was looking at (06 ww ix) had already been through a new clutch, new tires, and a new set of discs. the car had 11,xxx on it. There are just too many kids out there that don't know how to take care of a performance car like the evo. you need to look no further than every civic/integra/tiburon/240sx with a bondo body kit, primer Grey paint and exhaust that bounces like a bobble head doll every time they hit a bump because they didn't weld the hangers on. I know you prob. don't want to hear that, but trust me, save for the X. It'll save you the headaches, plus you'll prob. get more ***.

Thank you all for the input. I have been thinking about selling my EVO for a while now. I have an offer for 30K, which I am going to accept. I am going to sell my EVO and GSXR 750 to get a new Tahoe. I love those things and it would be more practical for me to have it. Plus, I am the type of guy that will put a **** load of money into my EVO if I don't sell it soon.
