Opinion on corbeau seats

What do you guys think about the corbeau forza seats? I was looking into getting these when I start to auto-x.

Corbeaus are favored by the Evo owners in Britain. They make a lovely carbon fiber seat, that I wish I could afford. I saw pics of it on LancerRegister.

If it doesn't recline and you drive it every day then you won't like it. It's a great track seat, but gets VERY uncomfortable after about 30 min in it. Had them for about 3 monthes in my supra then got rid of them.

Not entirely true. It depends on which seats they are.

I run recaro pole positions in my daily driven evo, and i absolutely love 'em. I've done long trips in the car (5, 6, 7 hours drives, etc.) as well as siitting through lots of city traffic and they feel great. the seat has never been an issue

dude, if its a daily driver, those seats wont be practical, for every day use. i would suggest looking for something reclineable and as for the brand corbeau i was told they make great seat and the quality is very good.

I think it's all personal preference. The seats are high quality, and they look great. When it comes to using them for a daily driver, it's solely up to you. What's the worst that happens, you get the seat, don't want to use it for long trips, so you swap with your stock seat. At least you'll have something for the track or spirited drives!! Everyone is different when it comes to stuff like this, so take everyone's opinion with a grain of salt.

So they wont be good for daily driving? I have to commute about 70 miles everyday to school and I dont mind sacrificing a little bit of comfort.

these are the exact ones I had. I couldn't stand them. I had to actually have my then girlfriend make me a pillow that fit down in the seat with matching cloth. After that, they were okay in comfort. Fine for short trips, aweful for anything over 30 min.

in the end it's all personal preference.

Personally I don't understand the point in replacing Recaros with lesser seats like Corbeaus. That's just me though.

I think the biggest problem with them is how are the posers going to be able to "do" the "gangsta tilt" with them? I mean everyone knows the best possible driving position is with your seat laid back at 45 degrees or more
