My little evo project

The interior will stay intact. The front roll bar was cut out, as it was not necessary for 9's on my local track.
The original piping fabrication that crossed the motor was disbanded, and I went with a vertical flow intercooler so the piping would go straight from the turbo forward to under the radiator and vice versa. As for the heat issue, it has been though about, it will be show in the final fabrication pictures. The weight issue, well its a 72mm turbo, I don't think that they make light-weight versions.

+1 for ingenuity
Keep us posted with pics and specs. I'm sure I'm not the only one that cant wait to see what this thing does. You could have just pioneered yourself into a whole new era of evo-tuning

I just though I would post up an update. It was an exciting day coming home from work today, and see what showed up!
ETS Custom 4" vertical flow, and a 3.5" exhaust!
Big thanks to Mike @ ETS! He is a great guy to work with, and very thorough. What a bad *** product!

It has been much longer than originally intended. Every time I look it seems like I need another part to be able to turn the key. I have spent a good 4k$ this month and I am looking at another 3K$ to finish it. I wish there were more used parts available to cut the cost down.
This is a run down of that I think I will need:
A Serpentine belt
Vibrant vacuum manifold
Tbolt clamps
Mishimoto fan shroud
75MM Boomba Throttle body
A Rad cap
A few bungs
A Throttle position sensor (crazy expensive)
Finish welding the intercooler piping, install the springs I bought when I was in Cali and all the other misc parts. Then tuning. Plus I am not sure on how I should break in the motor?
