My problem is I cant get the hood to close. I try putting more muscle to it but it start making craking noises so I stop. My question is what did I done wrong?? Is it possible that the dampers are bad?? perhapes I install it wrong??

oh yeah I try to push the rod into the damper body but it wont even move too.... I guess I'm stupid ....so please help me out.

nevermind I got all figured out by my dumb self.
It needs to break loose before it can operate normally.
I went a bit beyond the craking noices then it breaks loose and close/open propertly now.

I need to stop when working on my evo.
