Well it's been a rough few days.

Dieter is fighting a bad vibration. We think we found it this evening, seems as though the splitter he is running has failed and was flapping under the car. We are going to build a new splitter tomorrow for the car at our shop.

Our car has a few issues too but still turned in a 1:33 on old tires. It is suppose to rain tomorrow so both cars are coming up to the shop to have the minor problems fixed and then back down for Saturday. I think the Magnum has a 1:31 in it.

I ended up loaning my Eclipse to Russ Ward to run in TTE, he put some Toyo RA1's on it and is adjusting to FWD.

I have TONS of pics....I will post them when I get back to good old sd. I am here in ohio too. Been a tough day like david said, but tomorrow and saturday will be better.

 

So what other competitors are at mid ohio running evos?

I know DTM is there running 1:33's. That is going to be a good race with cars running similar times in practice.

Yes, Danny is running fast in TTU. He had a best of 1:28 so far.

Dieter finally ran a session today, he is in 2nd right now in TTR running a 1:31. Robert has run quiet a few 1:33's.

Hopefully it doesn't rain out tomorrow, I think Robert has a 1:31 in him and I know Dieter is going to go faster too.

To keep this in perspective, last year the winning time was a 1:34.8, if I remember correctly.

DTM actually ran a 1:34.252
It will be a buscgur 1-2 finish for sure.

Heading out to the track right now.. its a really chilly day out here today gonna take a while for the tires to heat up but it should be a sweet day for racing.

 

Danny is really fast at Mid-O. I was supposed to be out there this year but I'm needed at home by family. Next year I expect to be back, however.

Hope the Evos do well this year.
