The 2002 New York Auto Show

http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4291937541

The Evo was there, but a Euro spec one...RHD...red. Nice to finally see the car in person, but it was locked so no sitting in it.

I talked to 2 reps (individually at different times of the day)

One guy said just under $30,000, 265hp, and all things like the Recaros and the Brembos will stay...so really no changes aside from HP. All US info will be released sometime in the summer. He also said probably only the GS-R trim...

The other guy said anywhere from $28,000 to $35,000, has no clue about HP, and said has no clue about trim lines or what will be available (this guy was zero help).

They both told me January 2003. So no real new info...

I guess we will have to keep on waiting

2 different reps + very same show + very different answers = Clueless reps

You'd think they make an effort at informing people with similar answers. It just goes to show that there is still little known about the specs on the car.

I was hoping they would share a little more ...

Anyway, thanks for the pictures.

Mitsubishi Canada has said it will carry the same lineup as the U.S. This was a long time ago and they haven't said otherwise since, so I don't think anything has changed. Looks like it will come.
