There's a better way of removing the silencer without remove the bolts of the exhaust tip.
All you need is to unscrew the silencer bolt (1 bolt), and find a long metal rod that has a hook or something in similar fashion, stick it in until it hooks up the edge of the silencer opening and yank that **** out as hard as you can. VIOLA
our home made silencer removing tool - a rod w/ two bolts screwed on both ends.

Go to Autozone (or any auto parts store), buy some PB Blaster for about $5. It is the best commercial penetrating oil known to man. Spray the entire rim of the exhaust where the silencer is. Let it sit an hour. Go outside and spray it again. Let it sit an hour. Pull it out with easy. No fuss, no mess. This stuff also works well for studs and most other bolts. Good luck.

I know this is a pain in the a$$ to get out and lots of people damage them, so I have one that I got out with only one slight ding, so if anyone wants one I will sell it for cheap, just PM me about it.

Oh, I figured it out. I went to the store and purchased some aftermarket locking nuts (like the ones welded onto the silencer) while still retaining the original bolts. It looks like it will stay on now thanks. I would have driven on the freeway and lost such a nice tip lol. Thanks whoever posted before me!!!
