Greddy Ti-C Silencer Removal
i just finished installing a few bolt ons including my Greddy Ti-C catback exhaust and i need some advice on how to take the damn silencer out. the furthest i can get it out is a couple millimeters. i've read that people used pliers to pull it out, but i cant get a good grip on the silencer. i also read that it's easier to pull it out when the exhaust is hot because the metal expands, but that didnt work either. i even tried sticking a hook down the exhaust and trying to yank the silencer out that way, but it still didnt work. anybody have any other suggestions? is there a tool commercially available that would do the trick?

Did you remove the whole muffler tip with the silencer attached?? you have to remove the whole tip from the muffler then you can have a nice grip cus the silencer is a long pipe. You can use the silencer as a handle and use the flat screwdriver to push the silencer out, it will slide out.

This may not work for you but on my brand new Ti-C, I took a pair of adjustable tong & groove pliers--mine have rubber sleeves that cover upper/lower jaws that I sometime use for removing rubber hose, shift knobs that are glued or stuck on--, inserted the jaws (closed) into the pipe, applied outward force on the handles, and wiggled the silencer out just enough to be able to actually grip w/2 sets of regular pliers. Twisting slightly left/right while pulling on the silencer made it easy to pull out.
