If any tranny is beat on it will break, but out of all the trannys out there, the Honda ones on average last the longest. I don't see a valid point there.
So is he implying that all Honda drivers are bad?

Puts him/you in the same category as those stereotypical people that assume asians are bad drivers, etc.

And it's why the s2000 is a harder car to drive fast than the evo too, right? Cause all Honda drivers are bad.

You're an idiot...and your questions are not worthy of a response.

Agreed. It's also worth mentioning that most people that buy an evo actually RACE them as opposed to most STi owners who don't and can't wait for the next mad tyte JDM part to come out next.

So we're in 4th grade too, correct?
loll

I joined this forum cause I like evos, I didn't join it to worship the evo. So if you are going to bash on other cars, at least do it in the right department. Bashing honda on reliability is stupid.

I'm not directing that at you. "You" as in if you were to. Sorry for that I guess. I still think you're a douche for being so narrow minded. =]

I know for a fact that the sti clutches are a lot stronger. My buddy has a gt3076r w/ stock clutch and making 450whp on 100oct. He has been on the stock clutch for over a year with that setup.

Okay, if you believe so. I'm going way off topic, so I'm going to stop.

In my opinion the evo isn't built for reliability, it's built for performance, and the transmission will definitely break earlier than a lot of other cars you see on the road, but this is also mostly due to the fact that the evo gets driven much harder.
Reliability is civic, but boring is also civic.

As for Evo tranny vs Sti tranny, I do think the evo tranny is a bit weaker.

lets just accept fact that sti trans is stronger than evos. But Sti's are 5-6 grand more than our Evos(GSR) and even 10k cheaper than STI(RS)
my GSR msrp was 31
RS msrp was 27
and STI msrp was 36
could be wrong on msrp but thats what i remember from last year when i bought the car.
