Problems with Zeitronix and ZAVT

Anyone using a Zeitronix and ZAVT failsafe on their car with a external wastegate? I just installed my 35R kit and it wont work properly now. With it hooked up it keeps overboosting and bypassing my boost controller. I really don't want to run without a failsafe but aren't sure how to get it to operate now.

I run ZT2 and ZAVT - I don't see why an external gate should really matter.

Can you describe what is going on in more detail?

It sounds like either you need to get your boost spike in control so that it does not trip your failsafe, or you need to raise the boost limit on your zt2.

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I am using the inline boost solenoid along with the ZAVT. It was working fine with the stock turbo. When I switched everything over to the 35R it would no longer allow the MBC to control boost. Even with it turned all the way down it was still spiking to over 35psi and blowing off intercooler hoses.

I am not familiar with the inline boost solenoid. Although it sounds like something is clearly not hooked up correctly.

Is the solenoid supposed to limit boost to wastegate pressure if there is a failsafe condition?

Are you sure that all the lines are on tight and everything is installed correctly.

Yes, it is hooked up exactly the same as with the stocker only this time to a external wastegat as opposed to an internal.

sounds like your boost control maybe setup wrong.Thats what happen to me but i have a ebc. Idk how the manual boost contoler works. I had to switch my boost lines around because going to a external wastegate is different the then stock inner wastegate. Some one posted the proper way to setup but i forget where they posted it
