lol the guy mentions that the car does not have a loud enough beep when you press the lock button on the remote and recommends getting an aftermarket horn.

The guy's writing is horrible. He misspells Recaro, substitutes "their" for "they're", and uses "than" in place of "then".
Although he has some nice things to say about the Evo, it's impossible to take him seriously. Who proofreads and/or edits these pieces?

Aw:
i enjoyed the fact that he mentioned "the extra bit of power helps passing". duh.
Would I drive it again, in a heartbeat, if I had extra space in the garage would I buy it, absolutely! I think Mitsubishi has hit the mark and the target audience is going to be VERY HAPPY.
With no major flaws, a significant WOW factor and fun driving. This latest version of the EVO continues Mitsubishi’s long running hit car.

I agree that it's a good review. It is poorly written ... besides the mistakes noted above, the writing style itself seems a little "tossed together." It isn't well thought out or clever in any way. Maybe I'm just spoiled by Clarkston's reviews or the Woot! info blurbs.

This is a really nice review of the Evo. I think that it's refreshing to hear a good review from someone who doesn't seem like an Evo fanboy and immediately start talking about how long they were waiting for the Evo to come to the US.... I don't share his opinion about the seats being uncomfortable on long rides though. I'm 5'11" and the seats are comfortable enough. I actually like the fact that if you press the "lock" button on the key fob quickly enough, that the car only lets out a small peep. I hate the really loud ones. Besides this car makes enough noise and gets enough attention as it is. I would rather not announce the presence of my Evo when I'm at the Safeway parking lot. Especially when I'm locking it to go inside, leaving my car vulnerable to keyers and mischevious young boys who always leave hand prints on my windows from looking inside the car. His experience reminds me of my first test drive. I think that anyone who drives this car for the first time feels something special about it, especially coming from a n/a car or a pure economy car.

+1 like that bad review on cnet that criticized the evo for not having nice technology.
