Need '06 RS VIN to buy RS Trunklid and Springs, can anyone help?
Hey guys n gals,
I'm new on this forum. I've got a '06 MR that I'd like to dewing and am having some difficulty finding a correct PN for an RS trunklid.
I found P/N MN161464 for an RS trunklid, w/o spoiler.
I also found P/N MN161463 for a MR trunklid w/o spoiler.
I didn't know the MR had a no-spoiler option, hence the confusion. Has anyone verified what the correct P/N is? I'm interested in replacing the trunk springs as well to the RS one and can't find the P/N for those.
If one of you kind souls could help me with a '06 RS VIN # it would make my life much easier as I could go down to the dealer and order this stuff!
Alternately, if you have these items for sale near the northern california I would buy them directly from you.
Please PM me.
And yes, I've searched!

you dont need a vin. if you go to a half decent parts dept. they will want your money and be willing and definately able to find the parts without a vin. have them look it up by body code and model number. they will have a couple of choices and by option code be able to help you

If you need any 06 RS vin number to buy/look up parts, just search any vin number on autotrader.com or something.
At my shop, when I wanna look up or buy something, they always ask for my vin number to make it easy to look up and to make sure I get the right part for my cars.
