Haha my first choice would have been the Tanabe concept g blue. Sounds AWESOME and people say it has the tip top performance you are looking for. But the sound sold me on that one, along with the AMS.

Anyone know the Tanabe diameter? Thing sounds mean! But also like the 3" AMS TBE so many to choose from.

If i want a tbe that isnt extremely loud but nice sounding with nice performace it would be the AMS/Tanabe correct?

Neither have I, but the tests & reviews proved me wrong. Excellent piece and sounds great.

well i think then all exhaust would give a same whp, ,same wtq, same exhaust sound etc, period.
Or not? I think there is some things you have to rethink about that: all exhaust is a same. Because that is what you suggesting .

3" = 3", but not all 3" TBE are the same....Different bends, different hangers, different weld quality, different mufflers, some have resonators...As such not all yield the same results....For me I wanted hp and tq improvements, but did not want straight pipe / race exhaust sound for every day driving....To each his/her own...

The AMS TBE is beautiful, very clean, sounds very nasty with the test pipe....

I have a sound clip of my fully built evo with the AMS turbo back exhuast on it.

pm me your email address if you want it.
