As far as which one is better, that remains to be seen.
I'd vote GSC..
It would be nice if someone did a comprehensive test on all the cams on same car with dyno sheets, just to see.

Go with whatever you feel is best, it's your car.
Just my .02 on GSC S1's

I personally went with HKS 272's over the S1's because of the results I have been seeing with the HKS 272's and the EvoGreen.

why are all you **** *****ing and moaning at eachother.

get the fck along you novices.

both cams are good.
im sure more ppl have the HKS 272s.
but theyve been around a lot longer than the S1s.

I have heard wonderful things about the S1s, though I have no personal experience with them.

thats what i was telling the rest of the newbs here. bu they want to get an attitude when someone tells them differently. i said i prefer HKS considering i have had them for some time, and im sure alota other members who've owned their evos longer then a year would say the same thing. i also mixed these gsc stage cams with the older 272s and what not. like i said before it all remains to be seen what kind of gains you can get with these new cams they are producing. and as for the cosworth i heard someone mentioning thosea few posts before me. but from a very well known tuner told me and a few buddies when he came down a couple months back that they are straight CRAP! like i said i wont tarnish his name but those were his exact words. you all be the judge.

actually what you were trying to tell the "newbs" here was a miss guided statement... There was no "I prefer 272's". regardless of the join date, your first statement was one of the more "newb" things I have seen posted here.

gsc s1's there are 1000 tests out there that show that the s1's have the same top end but a whole lot more midrange low end

i've had the S1's and now i have the cosi's i will tell you straight how it is from my experience....

The S1's are much easier to make idle properly, dont sound as aggressive and yield some pretty impressive power. They are a great set of cams, i liked them a lot.

In the quest to make more power, i went with the cosi's.... what i have discovered with them is they seem to pull a TAD bit more up top. Understand this is also running the tune for the S1's on the cosi's so there could be more there that i never bothered to look for. The biggest thing i have noticed with the cam change, the cosi's seem to ride more smoothly. The daily cruising is very quiet, my exhaust is more quiet, my car rides a lot better.

So, in conclusion, depending on your goals, you get to make your choice. I chose to not go with HKS because there wasnt enough results out yet, and the ones that were out the Cosi's seem to laugh at them....

good luck with your decision
