was at the dealer today and.....

picking up oil fliters and talking with a cute chic behind the counter. i guess there required now to take pics of the car anywehre that there could be aftermarket parts and send them to a regional rep for any warranty work to be done on the car.

anyone else dealer doing this?

i know my car is modified and i dont expect to have a warranty but i thought this was funny. she told one guy to go home and take his Cold air intake off (shortram) and come back for repair.

I would tell them to take a flying leap if they tried to take pictures of my car without my consent.

I would always put my car back to stock if I had to take it to the dealership for warranty work.

WOW, WTH is that.

I'll have to drive the Jeep to pick up parts now, lol...
FTL

Mine's so far gone now it wouldn't matter anyway. [barely 4K miles on it- lol..]

It'd be too much of a PITA to go back to stock now - just for warranty work.

Yeah, that sucks... That's why I would just get my parts from Russell at www.mitsubishiparts.net. cheaper prices, evom vendor, an enthusiast and knows his stuff. I just picked up a whole bunch of little clips for my trunk project and he took care of me.
