This probably won't be an issue with you, but in FL, with the heat, the tranny does not like the II. I have ran both, first 1, then I tried the 2, I went back to the 1. The differences are:
BG I: Works better when warmed up.
BG II: Works better cool (the first 5 mins. of driving in FL), once warmed its too slick.
BG I: Works better when warmed up.
BG II: Works better cool (the first 5 mins. of driving in FL), once warmed its too slick.

I can't stand when people say only use Mitstubishi factory fluids. As long as you use GL-4 your fine. Shep uses a mixture of bgII and mt-90 and AMS uses all redline. I had my tranny, transfercase, and rear diff. fluid changed at AMS. They put mt-90 in the transmission, lightweight shockproof in the transfercase, and heavyweight shockproof in the rear diff. They also added some special additive to the rear diff. My car shifts like butter now.
