Evo to RX7

I graduated college over the summer and am now attempting to find a job in NYC. I think the EVO might have to go if i end up moving into the city since its not comming there....it will be destroyed. My father is huge on performing gm 350 swaps specificly LT1 and now LS1s. There is an LS1 sitting in my garage and I was thinking of putting it into a 1993(newer body style) Rx7 with a t-56. The evo is payed off and will not be used if im in the city...nor will the rx7 but it will be a cool winter project and will give me something to do on the weekends rather than drink. HAHAh mPlus ill end up with some cash in my pocket from the sale of the Evo. All opinions are welcome!!
Thanks Guys.

Um... Have you seen or driven a RX-7 with an LS1 swap? That T-56 is not needed, at all...

Regardless, I say keep the Evo, but its your final say.

The RX7 has a timeless design which most everyone loves. Youll probably like the RX7, but from what ive road in, they are serious rattle traps.

Ive only seen them in videos....they are apparently pretty nasty and maintain close to a 50/50 weight balance with the ls1. the t-5 would be fine your right, but i can get a 56 cheap. Keep it comming i want as much input on this as possible. Negatives and positives.

If you go with the T56, swap the rear end, because you will be rowing WAY too much with the stock diff.

why ask an evo site? You know what everyone's gonna say. Just do what you wanna do with your own money as long as it makes you happy.

rx-7 with ls-1 is pure sex. dont bother going onto an rx-7 site because they'll eat you alive. easy 11 sec. daily driver!

I drove a RX-7 with some basic mods and a Full Roll Cage and it was the most uncomfortable ride ever! But the car was overall fun to drive.

I thought about getting a RX7 and doing the LS1, but it's too much hassle. I'd keep the Evo unless you're really into projects.
