If you are within the warranty period, they should replace your spoiler. I had my spoiler and calipers replaced at 36k miles.

im nervous mitu wont fix my 5th gear/synchro.06 se bone stock less the 10k miles on it.i had the same problem on my 05.i should have bought the 6spd.

keep tryn they should keep bugging them thats what i had to do, they weren't even giving me a rent a car for having my car for a week, how the heck do you want me to get to work and back? they finally gave me one, but i think i'll have to go to another mitsu for the spoiler

If the car is still under manufacturers warranty, I suggest that you keep on bringing it back there for repairs.. If it comes back three times for the same problem, you should consider filing for lemon law and they will be forced to buy it back from you.

sorry to reply with no soulution but i too have this problem on my 04 VIII. If i double clutch or shift way slow its fine, but try and bang into fifth and Ouch and its only fifth no other gear. I will follow your progress as perhaps it will help me :|
