Can you read the ecu via ecuflash?
I guess the first thing I would do is check all the connections you can get to easily.
Is taking it back to the shop that did the water pump an option?

the download at activematrix is that mittsulogger? I thought crank or cam sensor. the radiator pissed antifreeze and water all over the crank sensor. I had to drive it to the shop with the cap loose.

No it's Scan Tech, it reads OBD II codes using the Tactrix Cable. EvoScan and Mitsulogger dont do this.

either something with the crank position sensor(or the crank sensor wheel), or maybe your key, or etacs ecu had a bain fart and you need your key reprogramed.

ok since i had the water pump done and the crank sensor is right there im leaning towards that as the problem. Will a CAM position sensor throw a code as well? if it is the crank sensor should i bring it back to the shop where i had the pump done?
