I noe a person in NY that does the solarguard tint. It is completely clear but it blocks out heat like a 20% tint. I love the technology aspect of it. as soon as I get the money I am gonna invest in it for my front windshield

tinting the windshield is stupid, you can barely see out of them at night, if its really hot roll down the windows or crank the ac.

I can see outta my 35% just fine, it's just enough to take the glare off headlights basically. And I didn't get it to keep the heat out, because I personally think it gets just about as hot w/ the tint.

I have been looking on Solargard's website and I don't see this "clear" tint that you are all talking about. The only thing I can find that comes close is solargard's Ultra performance which is 76% transmission of light with 8% reflectivity. It does have a greater than 99% reflection of UV rays however.

I need to have my windows re-tinted, I am considering getting this ultra performance up front with the Supreme 40 on the surrounding windows. I was planning on going with the HP Supreme, but the Supreme and Ultra Performance are non-metalic tint which transmits all radar signals and GPS signals.

I'll post some pics of mine later, but yeah I don't know about the clear solargard on the windshield. I may just get the lightest tint available put on the windshield.

Haven't decided yet... still researching.

And whoever said it is just as hot in a car with tint than without is just crazy.

oh i had my tint done, and after adding the windshield to I noticed a drastic temp change..

115 degree riding around with acu's and boots is a problem.... plus i have sensitive eyes so I like not getting headaches from sqinting all day........
