why switch evo 9 seat with evo 8?

I like the seats in the 9 much better than in the 8, but I guess it is a personal preference.

he used duplicolor fabric/vinyl spray paint.

You're correct. They're slightly lighter, but not by much. I have the leather SSL seats. I've even played with the idea of swapping them out for something else (like Brides), but I rather put that money towards something under the hood.

Thats how I got mine exactly. Buddy had a blue IX, and wanted some matching seats, so I traded him the ones out of my VIII for his seats.

i have no complaint about the 8 recaros, i feel they match pefectly with the electric blue exterior. as for the 9 recaros they look ok, but im not really feeling the red.
