Offer for my 05 MR at dealership
Today I went in to trade my Evo at a Dodge dealership. I have a 05 GG MR with only 8,800 miles on it. They offered my 20,000 for it on trade in. I almost punched the guy right in the face. Someone tell me I am right in thinking this idiot is lowballing me. Just to let you know I picked up my keys and walked off as soon as I saw that number.

The dealer will low ball you as much as they can.You will be better off selling it to a private party. My friend took in a 06 EVO MR w/15,000 K and they only gave the guy I think it was 25,500 for the car.

Go back to the dealer and say you are sorry, it looks like they were right on the money.

my buddy just got an IX . yesterday. the seller got the car in 07 end of january and have 11k miles. He gave with the car an extra RS trunk ,JDM bumper, 4 tires brand new , HID, etc. The car is black scratch free. My friend paid $24.5k for it.

I am sorry but KBB is so over inflated and the only time a dealer will use it is when they are trying to sell you a car and use it to their advantage. You need to look at what edmunds, blackbook and what the cars bring at the auction. Dealers look at auction prices all the time and will check it before offering a trade in value on yours.
